Happy Thanksgiving from T2B

Happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate!

Over the next few days, I’m sure you’ll be spending time with loved ones – your friends and family.

Maybe you’ve even got some events in your social calendar where you’ll meet new people for the first time. People from different backgrounds, from different parts of the country (maybe even the world).

If you’re anything like me, that prospect can feel a little daunting sometimes. People are often surprised to find out I’m an introvert.

It kind of got me thinking about the T2B community – because I want this to be a space where you can meet new people for the first time and cultivate connections, without it being daunting!

I want to thank you all for joining and making T2B the hub for biopharma communicators, providing you with:

• A safe space to discuss any challenges you might face in your role.

• A non-judgmental environment to raise questions and ask for advice.

• A welcoming, friendly community that understands our industry's unique challenges and nuances.

• The opportunity to connect with like-minded biopharma comms professionals around the globe (both face-to-face and online).

• Access to resources created specifically for comms folks in our industry.

• Targeted webinars to boost professional development.

• Tools and ideas for how to demonstrate our function’s value and relevance.

• Insights into how to engage with, and pitch to, biopharma trade media.

• The opportunity to shape the future of our profession.

And, more than anything, my amazing team of advisors and I want to collaborate to collectively advance our profession.

So, if you have any slightly awkward first-time meetings planned this weekend, rest assured that you won’t get that next time you join a T2B event: Instead, you’ll be able to dive straight into an energetic conversation with someone who’s just like you!
