Roundtable applications close ON MONDAY
Hi!
If you haven’t applied for our Students & Recent Grads Roundtable (or encouraged any future biopharma comms stars to do so!) then act fast: applications close this Monday, March 10th.
Everything you need to know about the Students & Recent Grads Roundtable
This roundtable will be made up of five aspiring biopharma communicators who will join forces to create quarterly virtual programs and resources for the broader T2B community.
Co-chaired by recent graduate Mikel Legette and college senior Parker Smith, this roundtable will:
Provide insights into diverse career opportunities within biopharma communications, highlighting practical steps to enter and advance in these specialized roles.
Develop programming that addresses skills often learned on the job, including project management, client etiquette, and industry-specific communications strategies.
Create mentorship, networking, and collaboration opportunities between emerging talent and senior leaders to build a stronger, more connected community.
Offer engaging, interactive programming such as workshops, panels, and resource guides that deliver both foundational knowledge and practical skills tailored to the unique challenges of biopharma communications.
Give up-and-coming comms professionals the chance to network with enthusiastic leaders who are passionate and driven in the biotech/pharma communications industry.
And thanks to the generosity of Geoff Curtis and Marshall Curtis Communications, the five selected students and recent graduates for this roundtable will receive a complimentary T2B Student Pro membership.
Who can apply?
So, if you’re a T2B member, a recent graduate or a current student (Associate, Bachelor’s, Master’s, Ph.D., Certification), and are:
passionate about communications/media/journalism/marketing in the life sciences;
able to volunteer 3-5 hours a month;
able to participate in monthly team meetings;
and open to learning and developing new or foundational skills in the industry;
then we invite you to apply for this fantastic opportunity.

P.S: Seats on our roundtables are usually reserved for T2B Pro members.

P.P.S: We’re switching to a new email provider, so it would really help us out if next week you could respond to our emails with the words “GOT IT” to let us know our content is reaching you!
